Grand Canyon National Park prepares for its centennial

The National Park Service is launching a new logo to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Grand Canyon in 2019. This remarkable design portraits the Colorado River and it is accompanied by the phrase “Go grand”.  Thanks to the hard work of the Grand Canyon Association, Grand Canyon National Park employees and marketing firm Off Madison Avenue, the logo enhance the cultural as well as the historical resources that identify the national park.  One of the main goals is to preserve and keep developing relationships with the park’s 11 traditionally associated tribes. As a result, the event aim to celebrate the past and influence on later generations in order to maintain the park’s natural resources. Different events are going to take place at the Grand Canyon during the year to encourage people to visit the national park.
