3. Covid is still a Thing | EDC Las Vegas
- Local and state officials strongly recommend that you wear a mask to keep you and those around you safe.
In Las Vegas, Individual event organizers are able to choose between requiring masks indoors for all attendees or ensuring that all attendees are vaccinated (in which case they can remove their masks). EDC Las Vegas hasn’t come out with any requirements for the 2022 festival. We’ll update this section if anything changes!
4. Friends in High Places at EDC Las Vegas
In addition, there is a group called Ground Control. Ground Control is a family of team members dedicated to helping Headliners (Aka YOU) stay happy, healthy, and hydrated at Insomniac events! This how-to identify them around the festival:
- They wear signature purple shirts
- They wear fanny packs
- They will have light sabers

6. Dude, Where is My Car? | Getting to EDC Las Vegas
First off, parking and shuttles for the October EDC Las Vegas are sold out. Secondly, paying for those means is a little much. Some of the shuttles were over $200+. Uhm what?! We did the math, and we have the hacks! In other words, cheers to saving money and thinking outside the box.
Park at Walmart Neighborhood Market:

- You can park at Walmart over night - Walmart has no ordinance against overnight parking

Above all, we did the math on these excellent alternatives. Let’s say you park your car at the Neighborhood Walmart, and you’re going with one other person. You would be looking at a rough Uber estimate cost of $13-$20 per day. Multiply that by three days, and you’re looking at $39-$60 (with just two people) – Total for your EDC Las Vegas weekend. In conclusion, that beats the $145 EDC was charging, and it’s faster than taking a 45 min shuttle.
7. Where to Stay | EDC Las Vegas
First off, you know, and I know that prices for hotels in Vegas for EDC weekend are crazy. Above all, why pay $350+ a night when you won’t even be at the hotel to begin with.
