Save Money In Las Vegas Monorail train in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. Take the Las Vegas Monorail around the Strip

While only running up and down the East side of the Strip, the Las Vegas Monorail can be an effective and inexpensive way to get to and from your destination. A one-way ride is $5 and a day pass is $13. Especially if traveling north to Sahara or Westgate, the Monorail is significantly cheaper than a cab.

2. Bring a reuseable water bottle/Buy a cheap one

So having a reusable water bottle on my things to bring to Las Vegas list was at the very top. Many hotels have water stations set up in the lobby with cup. Just fill your reusable water bottle up periodically from there and your wallet will thank you. You can swing by Dollar Tree and pick up a cute water bottle for $1.25 and fill it up throughout the day. This hack will easily save you $15-$25+ a day in buying waters throughout Las Vegas.

3. Stock Your Room With Snacks and Drinks

As simple as this sounds – yes, it is cheaper to buy and stock the room up beforehand than going shopping in touristy places. It’s common in the touristy part of town to market prices up for people that come and don’t know any better. Don’t be that person on vacation that spends all their money eating out!  There are a lot of friendly convenience stores nearby that sell everything from drinks to snacks. Here is a great option to get snacks for your room!

4. Eat Cheap - Think Buffets/Deals | Save Money In Las Vegas

Our favorite ways to save money in Las Vegas is eating cheap for breakfast and lunch, then splurging for something more upscale for dinner. Cheap buffets are an excellent opportunity to fill up for less. Do your research. Plan your trip right before the transition from lunch to dinner. Not only will you save money, but you’ll score fresh food as the buffet transitions.

Firstly, this, by far, is an excellent way to save money in Las Vegas! Who doesn’t want up to 70% off their stay in Vegas? If you didn’t already realize, things could add up quickly in Sin City. Deals, such as show tickets and free tours, can be had by sitting through a timeshare presentation. Taking a tour of a beautiful resort and seeing all the amazing amenities offered, and getting a crazy deal is certainly worth it if you’re looking to save some money on your Las Vegas vacation.
