Chris Hansen, correspondent for NBC News’ award-winning program, Dateline NBC, dined at N9NE Steakhouse. Wearing a gray suit, Hansen and five other guests enjoyed dinner in the main dining room. The party enjoyed appetizers including the crispy fried calamari and chicken wontons. They sipped on wine and for dessert, indulged in the chocolate truffle cake.
Tuesday, June 16
Rappers Too Short and Xzibit partied at a VIP table at Moon Nightclub. Dressed casually in jeans t-shirts, the two were joined by about ten others. They were seen dancing to the music and enjoying the atmosphere, leaving the club around 3 a.m.
Wednesday, June 17
Rapper Xzibit dined at N9NE Steakhouse with a party of six. While he was dressed casually in a gray shirt, jeans and white shoes, he accessorized with diamond necklaces, a diamond bracelet and a diamond-encrusted watch. He feasted on the Rock Shrimp, Rib Eye and a side of Macaroni and Cheese.
At Nove Italiano, UFC fighter Keith Jardine enjoyed dinner with six friends. They sipped on FIJI Water and indulged in many Nove specialties, including salumi, Sunday’s Gravy and Chicken Parmigiana.
Thursday, June 18
The Palms Casino Resort was buzzing with famous athletes and celebrities as the NHL Awards Ceremony. Rain Nightclub hosted the after-party and NHL athletes in attendance included: Zdeno Chara and Timothy Thomas, Jr. of the Boston Bruins; Bobby Ryan of the Anaheim Ducks; Michael Richards of the Philadelphia Flyers; Jeremy Shaffer Roenick of the San Jose Sharks; Alexander Mikhaylovich Ovechkin and Sergei Viktorovich Fedorov of the Washington Capitals; Mark John Douglas Messier, retired NHL player who was inaugurated into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007; Pavel Valerievich Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings; and Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Celebrity guests included: Grammy Award-winning musician Robin Thicke, professional poker player Daniel Negreanu, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Golden Globe-nominated actor and director Kevin Connolly, actor William “Bill” Fichtner and actor Colin Ferguson.
Guests arrived at Rain Nightclub around 6 p.m. and headed outside to the Palms Pool & Bungalows where they mixed and mingled with friends, family and fans. Many of the athletes were seen taking photos and signing autographs. At 7:30 p.m. guests made their way to the main area of Rain where they were seen drinking water and beer. Many of the NHL awards were displayed on stage.
Kevin Connolly was seen having dinner at N9NE Steakhouse. Wearing a checkered shirt, blue blazer and black loafers, Connolly indulged in the wedge salad, bone-in rib eye and a side of skinny fries.
Also dining at N9NE Steakhouse was Robin Thicke. Fashionably clad in a brown leather jacket and designer jeans, Thicke sipped on wine and mixed drinks, while enjoying the rock shrimp, shellfish platter and wedge salad for appetizers. For his main course, he feasted on the fliet mignon, accompanied by a baked potato.
At Playboy Club, John Dolmayan of System of a Down and Kerry Simon, celebrity chef and proprietor of Simon at Palms Place, partied at a VIP table. Accompanied for four other guests, they were seen talking amongst themselves and playing a few hands of blackjack.
Friday, June 19
The Ditch Dating Game took place during the Ditch Fridays weekly pool party at the Palms Pool & Bungalows. The interactive dating game matches Las Vegas’ sexiest single men and ladies. Two couples were selected for each game and were awarded dinner at Nove Italiano and a VIP table and bottle service at Rain Nightclub during DJ AM Fridays. The Ditch Dating Game featured Emily Gimmel of SOAPnet’s reality series Southern Belles and N9NE Group’s own David Gutierrez. DJ Cubeechee was on hand spinning for the packed party.
NHL athletes in attendance at Ditch included: Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals; Evgeni Malkin, aka Geno, of the Pittsburgh Penguins was spotted catching some sun with two friends; and Jeremy Roenick of the San Jose Sharks was joined by a large group at one of the cabanas where they were seen drinking Pina Coladas and Ketel One Vodka.
R&B singer-songwriter Christina Milian and Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter The-Dream* were spotted together in a VIP cabana at the Pool joined by a large group of friends, security and their manager. Mid-afternoon The-Dream took the stage and performed for the crowd. He hung around afterwards to chat with fans.
Funny Car drag racer Ashley Force Hood*, daughter of NHRA Funny Car champion John Force and first woman to win at the NHRA Summit, arrived with sister Courtney Force and several additional girls in a cabana at the Pool. Ashley was sipping Twisted Lemonade while Courtney enjoyed a virgin daiquiri.
UFC fighter Clay Guida*, joined by three friends, was spotted conducting a sparring session poolside with his trainer. The group drank FIJI Water while they enjoyed the party.
Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce, aka The Truth, and a friend hung out on the stage area at the Pool near the DJ booth for most of the afternoon. He enjoyed a Maine lobster roll and chicken Caesar salad along with a Pina Colada.
Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics was joined by a friend for dinner in the lounge at N9NE Steakhouse. They enjoyed the Rock Shrimp and Salmon along with tequila. Pierce was wearing a bright yellow polo shirt with Gucci pants and shoes. At a separate table was retired NHL player Gordie Howe aka Mr. Hockey. He was joined by four guests and they dined in the main dining room. Howe enjoyed onion soup, a bone-in Rib Eye and Smores for dessert. He stopped by the kitchen after dinner to greet the N9NE Steakhouse team members. NHL star Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals was also seen having dinner at N9NE Steakhouse. He had the onion soup and calamari along with a filet and lobster mashed potatoes. He was wearing Dolce & Gabana sweatpants and a white t-shirt.
At Nove Italiano UFC fighters included Diego Sanchez, Joe Stevenson and Melvin Guillard each dining separately with family and friends. Sanchez and Stevenson dined on specially prepared meals created by Executive Chef Geno Bernado. Sanchez even brought some of his own food for the chef to prepare. Guillard enjoyed the Bufala Mozzarella Pizza and the Nove Spaghetti.
At Rain Nightclub UFC fighter Clay Guida was joined by two friends was spotted saying hello to fans and posing for a few photos. He was wearing a backwards hat and cargo pants. NHL player Jim Slater of the Atlanta Thrashers was joined by a large group at a table on the dance floor. He wore a black button up shirt and was seen taking shots with fellow hockey players and friends. Paul Pierce was at a VIP table on the stage drinking FIJI Water. Guests at AM Fridays enjoyed the sounds of DJ Adam 12.
Over at ghostbar, UFC commentator Joe Rogan was seen hanging out and drinking FIJI Water. He was dressed in a grey t-shirt, black boots and jeans.
At Playboy Club actor, comedian and radio personality Harland Williams was seen at a VIP table drinking FIJI Water and Ketel One Vodka. He was wearing a blue shirt with the name “Larry” on it. He posed for photos with comedian Cort McGowen.
Moon Nightclub hosted a Get Lucky in Las Vegas Hockey Party with special guests Bobby Ryan of the Anaheim Ducks, Jeremy Roenick of the San Jose Sharks, Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and Brian Campbell of the Chicago Blackheads. The NHL stars lined the dance floor at VIP tables where they were joined by friends and hung out and posed for photos with fans throughout the night. The groups enjoyed FIJI Water, Miller Lite and Ketel One Vodka.
Saturday, June 20
Las Vegas journalist and socialite, Robin Leach, enjoyed a great dinner at Nove Italiano Saturday night.
At N9NE Steakhouse, UFC President Dana White dined with a party of 10. Dressed casually in a black shirt and jeans, White started with the signature rock shrimp and for his main entree, had the filet mignon and a side of creamed corn.
Also at N9NE Steakhouse was film maker and script writer M. Night Shyamalan, accompanied by seven guests. Shyamalan started with the Kobe Carpaccio and then had the Kobe burger for his entree. He was seen sipping FIJI Water and also enjoying some signature espresso shots.
At Rain Nightclub, musician Bradford Delson experienced Paul Oakenfold Presents: Planet Perfecto with one female friend. They left a little after midnight.
NHL player for the Atlanta Thrashers, Jim Slater partied at a VIP table with 12 others in Rain Nightclub. They were seen taking shots.
At Moon Nightclub, MMA fighters Nate Diaz and Kristopher Cope partied at a VIP table with a party of 10 drinking mixed vodka drinks.
Also at Moon Nightclub was actor, comedian and radio personality Harland Williams who was joined by an entourage of 10, including 2009 Playboy Playmate of the Year, Ida Ljungqvist. They arrived shortly after checking out the scene at Playboy Club and left Moon Nightclub a little after 3 a.m.
Other celebrities at Moon Nightclub and Playboy Club included: professional poker player David Ulliot a.k.a. Devilfish; film maker and script writer Shyamalan who was seen drinking Ketel One mixed drinks; and MMA fighter Diego Sanchez, who enjoyed Ketel One mixed drinks with 40 friends at a VIP table at Moon.
Sunday, June 21
Ida Ljungqvist, 2009 Playboy Playmate of the Year, hosted GOODLIFE Sunday at Playboy Club. Wearing an elegant black sequin dress, she sipped on Ketel One and Red Bull cocktails while talking with admirers and enjoying the company of her friends at her VIP table.
