Former MLB catcher and infielder, Jim Leyritz, stopped by the Playboy Club to check out the party scene.
Playboy’s October 2008 Playmate of the Month, Kelly Carrington celebrated her birthday at the Playboy Club. The table drank Ketel One mixed cocktails and champagne.
David Blaine and friends grabbed a Kobe burger and Dover Sole at N9NE steakhouse. Blaine is best known for his somewhat over-the-top magic tricks, which has gained him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Tuesday, December 9
New York Yankee’s captain and heartthrob, Derek Jeter, had dinner in N9NE. He told the restaurant manager he was taking it easy and just wanted to have good meal. Jeter started with a shrimp cocktail then indulged in the dinner special, Morty’s lemon chicken.
Wednesday, December 10
Kerry Simon, celebrity chef and proprietor of Simon Palms Place, stopped by a dance floor table in the Playboy Club to say a few hellos.
American professional poker player, Phil Ivey decided to test his luck at the blackjack tables in the Playboy Club. Ivey drank Fiji waters while focusing on the cards.
Thursday, December 11
Most famous as vocalist for Motley Crue, to wine enthusiast and owner of Vince Vineyards, Vine Neil, dined in Nove with a friend. Neil tried one of Nove’s specials, the Branzino fish enhanced with truffles and risotto. Following dinner, the couple headed up to Playboy Club for a night cap.
Friday, December 12
President of the UFC, Dana White grabbed a bite to eat in Nove.
Joe Reitman, who seems to have tried all aspects of film making such as acting, producing, writing and directing, went up to the Playboy Club with about eight friends.
Emmy nominated comedian and star of the sitcom The King of Queens, Kevin James got his groove on in Moon. The actor stayed sober but enjoyed a little dancing.
Current UFC fighter, Diego Sanchez partied at a dance floor table in Moon. Sanchez drank beer and rum.
Saturday, December 13
After attending the UFC fight at the Pearl, Kevin James had dinner with his guests at N9NE. James ordered the bone-in New York strip with a side of cream corn and spinach.
Moon was jamming Saturday night after the UFC fight. Fighters to be seen at a dance floor table included Kendall Grove, Jason Miller and Marcus Aurelio.
Phillipe Nover, another UFC fighter decided to check out Ghostbar instead. He was joined by friends at a VIP table drinking vodka mixed drinks.
Playboy Playmates, Carmen Electra and Dasha Astafieva signed autographs and posed for pictures earlier in the day. Saturday evening the two glamour girls were seen partying in the Playboy Club. After dealing a few hands of blackjack to adoring fans and former Chicago Bears player Richard Dent, Electra was presented with her very own exclusive Playboy key necklace.
UFC announcer, Bruce Buffer also known as, “the veteran voice of the Octagon,” played a couple rounds of blackjack in the Playboy Club.
Sunday, December 14
Former Chicago White Sox player and now a free agent, Frank Thomas, enjoyed dinner in N9NE with his brother. Thomas ate the filet with sides of cream corn and loaded baked potato.
Sean Rooks, a retired NBA player who spent his last season playing for the Orlando Magic, had a cocktail in Ghostbar with a lady friend. They were impressed by the phenomenal view of the Strip.
